INTERVIEW
At the end of the '80s, the TG2, news broadcasts of the second channel of the Italian State Television, entrusted Vignelli with the construction of the set from which the transmissions will be made. The famous studio 10 is born, pearl gray with galvanized floor and 32 monitors, but above all with two red armchairs in the foreground. It's an invention: a new way of doing information (no longer the so-called "half-length"). The armchair is called "Interview": it is an evolution of the well type, carefully designed to allow maximum comfort to the guest and even a posture that does not condition the timbre of the voice. The demonstration of how the project can be transformed into a communicative tool not to say "political".
