LYRA

Lyra appears for the first time entirely in leather in the Poltrona Frau catalog of 1934, as a variant of a previous model with a velvet cushion of 1916, which was called Lira. Also in the 1934 replica, characterized by its rounded back and finished by a row of leather-covered nails, the formal features of the Victorian living room can be recognized, with a deep seat, comfortable armrests and a very comfortable goose-down pillow. The rubberized horsehair padding is placed by hand on the biconical steel springs of the seat and back springs. The structure is in seasoned beech. Cover in Pelle Frau® leather from the Color System, in Heritage leather and in Soul leather.
